Trump’s megalomania would never let himself accept defeat while his hate and anger brought him to want to burn down the place that now rejects him.

With Trump holed in his office, many worry that he is plotting more violence and mayhem in his final days in office.
Trump preferred Twitter to even talking directly with people. He would stay up late at night filing tweet after tweet, many of them lies.
He still has support from extremists, some rank-and-file, and hard-core right-wingers but he is no longer the dominating force for the GOP.
