Paul fired up on the floor.

Ron Paul – the falling tree in the empty forest that is the United States Congress, once again, as he does on a weekly basis, stood on the floor of the House of Representatives and – I hate this phrase but I’m going to use it this once – spoke truth to power.

What was intended to be the power anyway. Your power and my power.

Watch my Right Hand

It’s more magical slight of hand in the finances of the government this week. While the White House and the media focus us on the ~$700 billion stimulus/pork plan being fussed over in Congress and the White House, the FED just created another one TRILLION dollars by slight of hand and tossed it out into the financial world. With barely so much as a mention in the media.

9-11 needed avenged (but Bush had Secret Agenda)

Bush, Cheney, and appointees lied about WMD, aluminum tubes, and Niger Uranium to con Congress into approving an invasion of Iraq, a country that did not have anything to do with 9-11. In WW-II, in 4 years, FDR put 13,000,000 men in the fight, beat 3 dictatorships, their leaders dead at the end. After 7 years of War On Terror, neither Bush nor Cheney could find Osama Bin Laden, our US reputation is in the gutter, we’re still at war, over 4,200 US Soldiers are dead, over 30,000 maimed for the Bush-Cheney arrogance and lies.

They ordered Torture, a violation of Federal Law.

Why we shouldn’t be stark raving mad about the bonuses paid to the AIG executives

I don’t know about you, but I’m getting just about sick of all the talk about the bonus money paid to all of the AIG execs. Understand, this is all whitewash…mere pittance, fluff…

Why should we be upset over a mere $170 million paid to incompetent waste who have run this company and our country into the ground when, hidden deep behind the scenes, is the real rot and stink!

Karl Rove talks the walk

re: Obama Gives the GOP an Opening by Karl Rove

Mr. Rove,

Don’t you think you are “jumping the gun” re: Obama since the man has been President for a mere 2 months?

Considering that the GOP wants Obama to fail as President and from day 1 has erected a stone wall regarding communications with the President and his administration, isn’t it a bit unrealistic to proclaim that Obama has gone against his campaign pledge to bridge the partisan gap and work with Republicans? It does take 2 to tango, does it not?
