American flags appeared everywhere Wednesday as America remembered the tragic events of September 11, 2001. This multiple display popped up at an equipment rental company in Merrifield, Virginia. Americans displayed flags on cars, hung them outside apartment windows, draped them over buildings and waved them at passing motorists. It was a visible statement that we will never forget those who died a year ago, that we will always remember the freedoms they died for and that we will avenge their deaths.
