Fact Check: Trump loads up his lies on mail-in voting, voter fraud
Truth takes a beating in Trump’s attacks on anyone and anything that displeases him.
Truth takes a beating in Trump’s attacks on anyone and anything that displeases him.
As his re-election campaign continues to wither and die, Trump turns to his usual lies, distortions, and claims to power he does not have.
The president lays lies on top of lies and adds some new ones as well.
Fact Checkers have documented more than 20,000 lies by Trump so far in his first term, and he continues to pile on with each tweet and public appearance.
It’s been the pattern of his life and his presidency: Repeat a lie enough times and people will believe it. Perhaps, but Fact Checks prove him wrong time and again.
A claim that he was given questions to Democratic presidential challenger Joe Biden so he could read the answers off a teleprompter was an outright fabrication.
As usual, America’s dishonest president continues to spew propaganda and false statements about the spreading COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic infections, hospitalization and deaths that are rising again in more than 20 states.
In another round of lies, Trump promotes a cure for AIDS while none exists, claims Barack Obama and Joe Biden did nothing to try to deal with police practices (they launched 25 wide-ranging civil rights investigations into law enforcement) and told other easily disproven lies.
Trump depends on Twitter to pass along his lies and baseless innuendos and the social media giant lets him get away with it. Flagging a lie still lets the falsehoods remain out there on the internet and, to make matters worse, the White House uses its Twitter account to repeat them.
Trump never lets fact get in the way of things he disagrees with. He just ignores the fact and lies.
