NASHUA, N.H. — Jen O’Malley wasn’t looking for trouble. She had come to the Democratic presidential debate here last month to cheer for her man, Al Gore, and to wave a “Gore 2000” sign in front of the TV cameras. But suddenly, things turned ugly.
