My election prediction. McCain will choose Lieberman (a republican from the democratic party) as his running mate. Why? Lieberman is as republican as they come AND it will provide the added bonus of giving McCain bragging rights – “see, I can reach across the isle and unite the country”. Well, if you buy that, I’ve got some desert real estate you MUST look at.
Now, having that foresight, what does Obama do? He certainly won’t pick Hillary. How about taking that steam away from McCain by picking a republican?
How about Ron Paul? That might be a great pick because they seem to be aligned on most issues and the kicker would be that if/when McCain DOES pick Lieberman, it’ll look like he got the idea from Obama making him a copycat. That’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it.
