Having lived through the antiwar period of the 60’s, before being sucked into the vortex in southeast asia, I have been amazed at the seeming lack of mass protests against the current imperialism and it’s consequences.
I remember the music and the speeches at universities all over the country. The constant beating of the drums to awaken the masses. Today, there doesn’t seem to be any cohesion of protest. So, I was surprised to find that there was in fact many who speak out.
I found this link and think that more people should listen/read what this young woman has to say because what she says is not being said in very many places and too many people are not hearing the message.
