We all know that John McCain is going to be the Republican nominee. But I know there are a lot of Ron Paul supporters around here, so I thought I would share this. Sometimes, I wonder if he’s trying out for the VP spot, but I just don’t see that happening with John McCain.
I really like this quote and it is typical of the man.
“Though victory in the conventional political sense is not available in the presidential race, many victories have been achieved due to your hard work and enthusiasm,’ he told supporters. “We must remember elections are short-term efforts, revolutions are long-term projects.”
REVOLUTIONS ARE LONG TERM PROJECTS That’s a very interesting statement.
The thought has occurred to me that perhaps he sees the writing on the wall and is preparing for 2012. Or maybe he want’s to keep his hat in the ring to maintain a prominent spot at the convention this summer.
I have an idea….in 2010 Texas elects a New Governor as Rick Perry has reached his term limits. How about Ron Paul for Governor of Texas? It sure would ben better than Kay Bailey Hutchinson (grin).
