Perino Defends Administration’s Intervention For Wall Street Instead Of Main Street»
Peole are fond of saying that people should take responsibility for their actions.
I have actually heard people blame people for falling prey to predatory lending practices.
How absurd! But what is worse is the corporate welfare that Bush and the Republicans have continually championed in the past 8 years backed by their current candidate for the future, John McCain as evidenced at the link above.
So under the Republican administration, it is OK to bail out corporations whose CEO’s are making MILLIONS in personal income EVERY YEAR. But it’s not OK to help poor people keep their homes.
This is CLASS WARFARE, plain and simple.
The coming election is very simple. If you are better off today than you were 8 years ago, vote for the failed policies of Bush/McCain! If not, vote for the other guy!

“Many homeowners who were subject to predatory lending practices – including brokers who misrepresented payments – are trying to rework their loans. Few are having any luck. ”
But the banks are being bailed out to the tune of BILLIONS!
