Three days after Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood issued a high-profile endorsement of Republican Mitt Romney for President, incumbent President Barack Obama is gathering a set of Hollywood liberals in Connecticut for his own star-power fundraiser.
A big-bucks fundraiser at the home of film mogul Harvey Weinstein, co-hosted by Ann Hathaway, Joanne Woodward and Aaron Sorkin, is expected to help Obama boost his campaign cash. The President has lagged behind Romney in raising cash.
Eastwood endorsed Romney last week.

1 thought on “Obama looking for much-needed campaign cash from Hollywood liberals”
When Mitt Romney had a fund raiser in the Hamptons earlier this summer, many people mocked him as being out of touch and elitist.
So, President Obama has a fundraiser in Westport, CT with Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein and they close down a state beach – you know, one that is kept up by taxpayers. Oh, and its going to be 90 degrees there. But, no beach for the commoners.
Can we say double standard? Don’t get me wrong. Romney is definitely not like the rest of us because of his wealth. But, neither is President Obama, but you’ll never hear that in the media.
