At least that’s the message from Urban Outfitters where those who think Mitt is it can shell out 28 bucks for a t-shirt that proclaims “Mitt is the shit.”
While it’s probably not the campaign slogan that those who run Mitt Romney‘s operation would sanction it is one way to be hip and say Mitt is it…so to speak.
Marketeers have longed used Presidential campaigns to make money.
During the 2008 campaign, “Another mama for Obama” shirts were popular just as “Another bimbo for Bonzo” tees popped up in 1980 and 1984 for Ronald Reagan, referring to his less-than-classic film, “Bedtime for Bonzo.”
Of course, “Mitt is the shit” can be taken as either an endorsement or condemnation, depending on your point of view.
No comment yet from the Romney camp on whether or not the Urban Outfitters option will become standard attire at the candidates campaign headquarters on Casual Fridays.
