After the planned Newsmax political carnival debate moderated by Donald Trump failed to draw interest from most of the candidates for the Republican nomination for President, Trump told himself: “You’re fired.”
Actually, sources tell Capitol Hill Blue, the owners of the conservative web site Newsmax told Trump to fire himself or he would be dumped.
Trump was scheduled to host the Dec. 27th debate but only two of the GOP presidential contenders — frontrunner Newt Gingrich and backbencher Rick Santorum — agreed to participate.
Texas Congressman Ron Paul, according to The Ticket’s Chris Moody, called the spectacle of a Trump-moderated debate, ‘beneath the office of the presidency.”
Others said they had better things to do with their time.
“I have decided not to be the moderator of the Newsmax debate,” Trump said in a statement to the web site Politico.
No word yet on whether or not the debate will go on as scheduled.

It’s really hard to embarrass Trump. Maybe near impossible.
Once again this narcissist of the worst magnitude has figured out a way to spin his way out of being showcased as having publicly failed to use his self-perceived power to manipulate the political system to his advantage.
.
He now shifts into the “Whoooaaaa, you mean if I moderate (play spin master) then I can’t run for president at the last minute?”
.
Trump couldn’t be elected to be “Street Sweeper” much less president. And he knows that more than anybody. Rick Santorum has a better chance at winning the presidency.
