It seems nothing, absolutely nothing is stopping this mighty steamroller that’s pressing Lady Liberty flat as a pancake. Ouch is all I can say.
Seemingly nothing Homeland Security does is seriously challenged. Shumers bill is simply for show. Notice the scanners will still be implemented and over the top pat downs not challenged either. Of course Chuck doesn’t want to step on his buddy, Mike Chertoff’s toes since his company is one of the premier sponsors for this new line of equipment. It was even mentioned by Ron Paul when he was talking about launching a piece of legislation to rein TSA in. It isn’t going happen DHS/TSA rules, seemingly unchallenged in any serious sense. It’s the mechanism for morphing this nation into a dystopian, Orwellian nightmare.
