Barack Obama’s plummeting job performance ratings at home are nothing compared to the worldview of the American President — especially in the troubled Mideast where candidate Obama promised a different approach.
Both sides of the Mideast debate agree on one thing: Obama the President is a failure and both the Israelis and Palestinians blame him for the current state of affairs in that troubled region.
“Instead of becoming a heady triumph of his diplomatic skill and special insight, Obama’s peace process is viewed almost universally in Israel as a mistake-riddled fantasy,” writes Ben Smith on Politico. “Even those who still believe in the process that Obama has championed view his conduct as a deeply unfunny comedy of errors.”
Smith continues:
“The political peace process to which Obama committed so much energy is considered a failure so far. And in the world’s most pro-American state, the public and its leaders have lost any faith in Obama and – increasingly — even in the notion of a politically negotiated peace.”
Obama has become the Rodney Dangerfield of political leaders. He just can’t get no respect — at home or abroad.

carl: following your logic one would have to conclude no one but former presidents are qualified for the job of president … the reality is anyone who can make a decision is qualified (i guess you never noticed the president is surrounded by advisers who hopefully have some expertise on a variety of issues) … why would saint R Reagan have any qualification using your logic
The big “O” is only cleared for community organizing. When it comes to matters of state and making peace among nations, forget it. His SOS, Hillary Clinton who for all practical purposes is totally unqualified for the job other than having been the wife of another presidential failure in chief, is his main ‘man’ gadding endlessly about leaving nothing of value behind among nations other than more of our tax dollars. Maybe she has some good recipes in her attache’ case.
He refuses to curtail our illegal intervention in the Middle East onward to Pakistan. Like G.W. Bush & Co., he and his mattoid advisers are still acting as premier salesmen for the MIC’s latest highly expensive ‘killtoy’ scheme; a missile defense shield for NATO causing unease among the Russians; I.E., instability concerning the everso critical balance of power.
It’s as if our leadership starting with Reagan/H.W. Bush on through our current regime are hellbent on destablizing the balance of power by shoving our terminally corrupt imperialistic hegemony down the world’s collective throat. / : |

Can I have an Amen, Carl you stated it best
meant to type “cite” — man…I gotta stop working on so many websites…;)
What a misleading BS headline!!!…you say the WHOLE WORLD is down on Obama and then basically site Israel…. what crap.
So both Israel and Palestine blame us for not being able to bring peace to the region? Um, what the hell is wrong with the two parties negotiating their own peace? Why must we be involved at all?
If both parties want peace, then f**king do it.
Neither want peace… if it means giving up land, sovereignty, etc. Who would?
