Always outspoken former first lady Barbara Bush says Sarah Palin should stay in Alaska and stop trying to be something she’s not: A serious candidate for President.

Appearing on CNN’s Lary King in an interview scheduled for Monday night airing, Mrs. Bush says Palin seems “very happy” in Alaska and says the former governor and one-time vice presidential candidate should “stay there.”

Mrs. Bush’s view of the bombastic Palin is shared by many rank and file Republicans who think the controversial political phenom is hurting the party.
