Let’s face it. There’s not much for a youngster to do in a crowded shopping mall as his parents finish up their last-minute Christmas shopping. Lick on some frozen custard, stretch in that uncomfortable metal chair, stare at the ceiling. It’s the little things that count. Or maybe he’s thinking about all the goodies that await him on Christmas morning. Or maybe he’s wondering is all the bad stunts he’s pulled during the year will mean nothing under the tree on Wednesday. Or maybe he’s just another bored kid at Ballston Common Mall in Arlington County, Virginia, just a few days before the big day.
