Time is running out tor The President Casino on the Mississippi Riverfront in St. Louis. The casino, based on the old Admiral Riverboat that used to offer dinner cruises on the river, has filed for bankruptcy protection but most analysts say the boat will be closed by year’s end. Some blame mismanagement, other blame location but most say the glut of gambling boats on the Mississippi, Ohio and Missouri rivers has saturated the market and a shakeout is due.
