America is a Christian nation?

When you study out the bible it becomes very clear that those who preach to us to put our faith in this book haven’t read the damn thing themselves.

When you study out the bible it becomes very clear that those who preach to us to put our faith in this book haven’t read the damn thing themselves. When confronted with an open Bible that exposes their anti Christ doctrines for what they are, lies in the name of Jesus, the first words out of these profound idiots mouth is: “that’s just your interpretation.” This is how the cowards avoid like the plague an honest discussion of this book because who is to say “the sky is blue” means exactly that, when in projection these clowns interpret this to mean “there is no sky besides it’s pink.”
Hebrews 11:13-16 KJV deals specifically with this anti Christ doctrine.

[13] These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
[14] For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
[15] And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
[16] But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

This text plainly states true Christian’s of true faith confess plainly they are pilgrims and strangers on earth who have no earthly nationality.
In other words, the republican Christian is going on pure BS in the name of Jesus. At no time will they back their anti Christ doctrines with Scriptures in context, and always deflect to dead sinners in history, giving their words worth while calling the Bible a liar.

Does the Bible command Christian’s to be political, and make sure Christ’s church is represented in government?
2nd Tim 2”3-4 KJV [3] Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
[4] No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

According to the bible a political Christian is an antichrist heretic preaching damnable heresy in the name of Jesus for no true Christian entangles themselves with politics. As ambassadors of Christ, and his heavenly kingdom the 100% focus of the true Christian is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Which brings me to the profound stupidity that claims our founding father’s were devout Christian’s who built America on Christian principles.
Roman’s 13 KJV [1] Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
[2] Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
[3] For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same:

If our founding father’s were devout Christian’s they would have obeyed the commandment found in Roman’s 13 to obey the powers that be. Ahem, that would have been King George of England. Instead our founding father’s rejected the Bible, and declared war on this king, and in doing so declared war on “god,” knowing this assures them eternal damnation.
In other words, the founders didn’t even buy the crap found in the Bible.

So much for America is a Christian nation. In every aspect of these lying heretics the Bible is made an absolute mockery of.
These profound fools amongst us can not even get their own religion right, it stands to reason they’re even bigger fools when it comes to basic American history as well.

  1. you have some serious issues mate. have you thought about getting help?
I got it the first time. you’ve been clinging to this forum for so long now you delusionaly think you own the place. Might I suggest you turn off your computer, and rediscover the sun?

if you do not like my threads than by all means stay off of them, and go bore some one else with your control freak drivel. You’re trying to lord over the wrong guy, and I’ll put you in your place every time just as I have every other deluded neurotic who wants to play God on the message boards.
one more time. if my threads offend thee, than don’t read them. be an adult, and go some where else. better yet, start your own threads of discussion, and stick to those. grow up.

I have not alienated those good people (sic)they alienated themselves. Frankly I find nothing good in their apathy. They remind me of the conservatives who sat back, and said nothing, while now complaining Limbaugh has bastardized conservatism, and resent being judged as another right wing moron.

Had you learned to read more carefully, my thread is quite specific in whom I am addressing, and whom I am not. since you struggle so hard with this, I’ll define it even more for you. the thread is addressing political pseudo Christian’s, and the doctrines/ideology they spew.
if this alienates Christian’s in general? than I suggest the problem isn’t with my posts, the problem is their insecurity, and it’s high time they take an honest look at that. had the apathetic found their voice, and stood up for their belief’s, we wouldn’t be here. but the fact remains they stood by in silence and mastered enabling. They alienated themselves.
what intrigues me…there are far far more offensive threads, and posts in this message board, and yet all of them are completely void of your lectures, and you can manage to simply address the subject of the thread without threats of tattling to mommy…or you simply avoid them. You’re not trying to lord over, and control them. just my post. curious neurotic behavior, though it is basic human nature and not that hard to figure out.
This the difference between you, and I. Unlike you I am not trying to control what others say, it’s their right to say it, and I am secure enough in myself I do not expect others to be like me, unlike you, and simply either address what they have posted, or move on.
You have some serious issues mate, have you considered getting help? at your age, you’re rather insecure, and struggle with issues you should have overcome by 8th grade.

  2. Point taken. Many of us on CHB have been long time members and have seen enough of these tirades to be well tired of them. The way to beat these people is to beat them politically, that is to say with reason, logic and facts, while doing our best not to alienate those that may be religious, but don’t share their twisted interpretations.

Although I’m not religious, I have family and friends that are. They have nothing in common with these false “Christians” and are appalled at the way their beliefs have been used and abused, co-opted by the Republicans, mainly, and government in general. By alienating these good people with such vitriol, we take them out of the political equation entirely, or we unwittingly force them to circle their wagons.

That’s why the Founders specifically called for a seperation of church and state. Had we not drifted so far from not only that advice, but much of the other advice the Founders had for us, we wouldn’t be having many of the conversations we’re having now.

I personally do my best to follow that policy, and judge these politicians not how their actions measure up to their religious “beliefs”, but how their actions measure up when compared to the oath of office they take – which is to obey and defend the Constitution. And when they are measured against that yardstick, virtually all of them fall woefully short – Republicans and Democrats alike.

If you wish to debate the religious views of our leaders and whether or not their actions measure up, I’m sure there are plenty of other sites out there for you to voice your opinions. This simply isn’t one of them.

  3. Thanks almandine and I’ve planned to do so. I just felt a tad bit guilty this AM that I roughed Scammer Smurf up more than he deserved.

Everyone has something to say whether it’s dispensed eloquently or not. My bad! : |

  4. I do not have a problem with American’s practicing symbolic canibalism, nor am I threatened by their gods threat of eternal damnation.
it’s when pseudo Christian’s combine their religion with politics, and legislate their tyranny I have a problem with.
after they have judged me a vile sinner worse than a child molester who will burn in hell for eternity, you speak to me of civility and crass?

  5. Hi Scammer Smurf,

You wanted a reply, although it’s not a refutation of what you’ve written, though seemingly you are seeking one. Our founding fathers were not Christians in the modern sense of the word.

The first link supports your thesis about the founders not being beholding to Christianity per se and the second is a vid clip refuting the veracity if not the sanity of the old testament itself.

Personally I’m an atheist and do not believe in the existence of a god or gods so if anyone is turned off by the pap that issues from the mouths of well known preachers or the likes of Rush Limbaugh et al. that use references to Christianity, Jesus or any fantasy of this nature, then it is myself.

Out of respect for others I’m not going to argue atheism vs. any belief system on this Christian Easter Sunday morning, but here’s a link to what many great minds have had to say about the existence of a god or gods.

Try to have a good day Scammer Smurf. My main concern is your lack of patience with others. The only thing that surely upsets me about your posts are your use of crude words and phrasing to express yourself along with an angry tone. Other than that your thoughts are no better or worse than most people walking about and you’ve had the courage to express yourself on this forum.

  6. captain nemo, when impeccable idots can not address a subject, nor refute the facts cited, predictably you resort to deflection through weak minded straw man drivel. the fact remains you can not refute my post, and all that is left for you to relly on is your delusional stupidity. it’s the only thing you have to offer.
it isn’t as if you can articulate facts to refute the thread, that would require an education, something you obviously lack on the subject, and why all of your posts are void of actual facts. You avoid like the plague the subject of the thread. it’s called “intellectual bankruptcy.”
rather than admit you are absolutely clueless on this subject, and do not have the education or intellect to address the facts i have cited, you will deflect in every moronic conceivable manner in a feeble attempt to try and mask YOUR shortcomings. projection is so predictable.
while you think of yourself as an intellect LOLOL, the truth is an intellect addresses the subject citing facts that back their position of pro/con. You can’t do this, and why your posts are completely void of such. The only thing you have managed so far is pure straw, and you’re sophomoric at that too.
bloody hell, we had far better discussions of issues back in 8th grade civics than the sophomoric drivel you bring to the table.
here’s a thought. rather than try to bullshit your way through this, try shutting me up with actual facts that refute my post. since you CAN’T do that, what else is there for you Sparky? MOOOOOMMMMMMM SCAMMERS PICKING ON ME. run to the cyber baby-sitter. bwahahahahahahahahaha you kill me Sparky. seriously.
