Convicted felon and criminally-corrupt American president Donald Trump continues to utter conflicting lies as Iran blocks oil-laden tankers from using the Strait of Hormuz.

The two sides of Trump’s unconstitutional war with Iran say they will return to the negotiating table in Pakistan while the disgraced American president claims he will resume military strikes on Iran is an agreement is not reached.

Trump, however, breached an agreement that included a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon and brought a short opening of the Strait late last week. However, he continued a blockade by the military.

Reports Sammy Westfall of the Washington Post:

President Donald Trump said Sunday that U.S. representatives are returning to Pakistan for negotiations to end the war with Iran – but renewed his threats of broad attacks to destroy the country’s infrastructure if no deal is reached.

Trump accused Iran of violating a fragile two-week ceasefire as it closed the vital Strait of Hormuz again on Saturday and two ships reported attacks while attempting to cross, after a brief reopening brought hope for an end to the war.

Trump said representatives would be in Islamabad on Monday evening but did not provide further details. The ceasefire is set to expire Wednesday.

“We’re offering a very fair and reasonable DEAL, and I hope they take it because, if they don’t, the United States is going to knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, will be in Islamabad for meetings, which will happen “Tuesday possibly into Wednesday,” Trump told Fox News in a call Sunday morning, the outlet reported.

Trump celebrated the reopening of the strait Friday and predicted that progress toward a deal would go “quickly.” Stocks surged, and oil prices dropped amid a surge of optimism after Iran’s effective closure of the strait has left some 20,000 seafarers stranded on idle ships and spiked oil prices.

The day after Trump said that “Iran has agreed to never close the Strait of Hormuz again,” Tehran said Saturday that it was closed again, citing a continued American naval blockade that Trump is using to exert pressure on the Iranians.

Trump said the U.S. would continue its blockade of Iranian ports until there is a peace deal. In comments Friday to reporters in Phoenix, where he was speaking at a Turning Point USA event, the president said, “Soon as the agreement gets signed, that’s when the blockade ends.”

Iranian officials suggested this weekend that negotiations were not over, and in the Pakistani capital, there were signs that the city was tightening security around some of the buildings expected to host the second round of talks. Roads leading in and out of Islamabad’s diplomatic enclave were shut, and guests were asked to leave the hotel where U.S. and Iranian negotiators met last weekend for marathon talks that collapsed with no deal.

Trump’s mounting stream of lies brings more and more criticism and calls for his removal by Democrats (and a few Republicans) through either the 25th Amendment of the Constitution or impeachment or both.
