America’s state of delusion: Trump’s constant lies and unrelenting bigotry

According to most polls, convicted felon Donald J. Trump is a disgrace, despised by more than 60 percent of Americans who did not watch nearly two hours of rambling, lies and distortions by the most dishonst and criminal president in American history.

Talk show host and former GOP Congressman Joe Scarborough called the speech tirade of lies and “unrelenting bigotry:”

Todd and Scarborough are not alone in their criticism of Trump and his continued abuse of power and seditious behavior. He is a constant threat to our democracy and to peace in the world: A traitor who should, and must, be tried for his many crimes and sent to rot in prison for the rest of his miserable life.

Doug Thompson published his first news story and photos at age 11 -- more than 65 years ago -- a newspaper article about racism and the Klan in Prince Edward County, VA. Today, he and his wife of more than 50 years, live in semi-retirement in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia.
