Trump: Carnival barker, terrorist and traitor to America

Convicted felon, sexual predator and rapist Donald John Trump turned American politics into a sideshow and carnival in 2016 with his unlikely upset win over Hillary Clinton to become the 45rh Presidentt

Four years later, voters woke up and threw him on his corrupt ass and turned to Joe Biden and American justice prevailed with dozens of felony indictments and revalations of his fraud, dishonesty and fabrications based on thousands upon thousands of lies, rampant racism and deceit.

But the reign of felon Trump and his MAGA Maggots are a cancer that continues to spread and here we are, eight years later, with he and Vice President Kamala Harris fighting a close race for what many say could bring an end to democracy and the America way of life.

At The Washington Post, writers Marianne LeVine, Maeve Reston and Meryl Kornfield say:

Donald Trump went online after midnight Tuesday to brag about acing cognitive exams he never released and his cholesterol, then misleadingly called Vice President Kamala Harris’s allergies a “dangerous situation.” By midday he was meandering through an interview in which he would not directly say whether he would allow a peaceful transfer of power after the election and later complained about Fox News having a Harris aide on air. He had spent the previous evening hosting an unusual town hall (“It was amazing!”) that started with long-winded answers to friendly questions and ended with him swaying and bopping to music for 39 minutes.

With three weeks left until Election Day, Trump is running an unorthodox, freewheeling campaign, directing threats and insults at a wide mix of people and institutions, pushing his travels deeper into Democratic states where nonpartisan analysts do not regard him as competitive, and wielding darkening rhetoric about undocumented immigrants and personal attacks against Harris at campaign events where he often veers off-script and has mixed up words.

In recent days, the Republican presidential nominee held a rally in safely Democratic California, where he suggested that a heckler would later “get the hell knocked out of her”; he spoke at an event in Colorado, promoting falsehoods about Venezuelan gangs taking over apartment buildings; he labeled some Americans “the enemy from within” during a televised interview, suggesting the military be deployed against them; and he repeatedly insulted Harris’s intelligence.

Trump’s outbursts and hostilities are evidence that he should not be returned to the White House, Democrats and other critics say. Some Republicans say Trump should spend more time focusing on policy areas where polling shows he has an advantage and less time on his grievances, obsessions and antics.

Sadly, the emergence of Trump from the sordid swamps of poliitcal vermin raises serious questions about the legality morality and lack of patriotism about the disgraced party of Abraham Lincoln

One is former Representative Adam Kinzinger, an Illinois Republican, who declared the death of the Republican Party following this year’s Republican National Convention (RNC), reports Newsweek.

“The convention spoke loudly: the GOP is dead,” Kinzinger posted on X. “Now that we know it, time to push hard. It was called the Republican National Convention, but in fact, it had nothing to do with the GOP most of us once knew. Gone were the party’s serious policy debates and platform planks. In their place was a celebration of Donald Trump, who has succeeded in converting one of the country’s two major parties into a cult of personality. The death of the old GOP was signaled at the start of the week when Trump chose the chameleon JD Vance as his running mate. With the choice of Vance, Trump indicated that he has no concern about appeasing the old-style GOPers, who would have been reassured if he had chosen a Marco Rubio or a Tim Scott as a running mate.”

He adds: “”I won’t hide the fact that I grieve the old GOP and fear the cult of Trump. I am equally concerned, though, by Democrats who are shrinking from the fight, concluding that Trump’s election is inevitable. I would say that given a remnant of traditional Republicans remains, and independents must be turned off by a Trump who wants to be emperor. It’s time to gather our courage and energy. The fight against him is not lost.”

Kinzinger joins the grrowing list of Republicans denouncing Trump and his cult. They are voting for Harris. They awakened GOP includes former Vice President Dick Cheney, former cabinet members appointed by Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and many forner National security officials.

“We don’t take an oath to a king, or a queen, to a tyrant or dictator — or wannabe dictator,” says former Chairman of Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley. “Donald Trump is a fascist to the core and the most dangerous person to this country.

Which means Trump is also a traitor and must be punished as one.
