Trump: America’s demented hater-in-chief who emboldens violence

He claims, without evidence, that his opponents want to kill him. Nah. They want his lies killed, and the convicted felon put in prison, where he belongs.

Convicted felon, criminal, adjudicated sexual predator and rapist is now claiming that his opponents are trying to kill again. He’s using such lurid and ridiculous claims in the latest fundraising letters.

Typical Trump. America’s former “hater-in-chief” accuses others of his crimes, biases, and lies.

Writes Fabiola Cineason on Vox:

Trump’s messaging on January 6 is precisely in line with how he’s historically addressed violence on the part of hate groups and his supporters: He emboldens it.

As far back as 2015, Trump has been connected to documented acts of violence, with perpetrators claiming that he was even their inspiration. In fact, dozens of people enacted violence in Trump’s name in the years before the Capitol attack, according to a 2020 report from ABC News.

That ABC Report notes:

A nationwide review conducted by ABC News has identified at least 54 criminal cases where Trump was invoked in direct connection with violent acts, threats of violence or allegations of assault.

After a Latino gas station attendant in Gainesville, Florida, was suddenly punched in the head by a white man, the victim could be heard on surveillance camera recounting the attacker’s own words: “He said, ‘This is for Trump.'” Charges were filed but the victim stopped pursuing them.

When police questioned a Washington state man about his threats to kill a local Syrian-born man, the suspect told police he wanted the victim to “get out of my country,” adding, “That’s why I like Trump.”

Trump breeds hate. He thrives on it. He achieved national celebrity status as the host of a stupid reality show, “The Apprentice,” where he claimed to be a successful businessman, instead of a documented fraud, where interns auditioned to become executives for his company. “You’re fired,” he would shout at those who failed. After the show was canceled after falling ratings, those who checked found that those who were not fired were given log-level work and humiliated by Trump.

His latest fundraising ploy, issued in his shouting capital letters, claimed that President Joe Biden has issued orders to have him killed.

“Remember when that Sicko Kathy Griffin made the rounds parading my BEHEADED head when I was President?! The radical-left CHEERED! Obama and Biden were SILENT! And the Fake News BLASTED it everywhere!” Trump’s claimed.

He adds: “The SAD and HORRIFIC TRUTH is that this is STILL the Sick Dream of every Trump-Deranged lunatic out there! And it’s not just me they want gone, THEY’RE REALLY COMING AFTER YOU!”

The only “sad and horrific” truth in this mindless tripe is that it comes from a demented, narcissistic psychopath who is sinking further and further into his dangerous dementia.

Dr. Lance Dodes, supervising analyst emeritus of the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute and retired Harvard Medical School professor, says evidence of dementia in Trump “is overwhelming.

As Newsweek reports:

“Unlike normal aging, which is characterized by forgetting names or words, Trump repeatedly shows something very different: confusion about reality,” he wrote in a statement that referenced Trump’s confusing Barack Obama with Joe Biden.

“If he were to become president he would have to be immediately removed from office via the 25th Amendment as dangerously unable to fulfill the responsibilities of office,” Dodes, who is also a distinguished fellow of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, added, citing the 1967 mechanism that allows for a president to be removed due to unfitness.

In another statement released at the same time, New York psychologist Suzanne Lachmann said Trump, 77, would “seemingly forget how the sentence began and invent something in the middle” resulting in “an incomprehensible word salad”—a behavior she argued is observed “frequently in patients who have dementia.”

Meanwhile, John Gartner, a psychologist and former professor at Johns Hopkins University Medical School, has defended Biden’s forgetfulness as a natural sign of his age, but authored a petition that argues Trump is “showing unmistakable signs strongly suggesting dementia.”

He wrote at the start of March that the former president showed “progressive deterioration in memory, thinking, ability to use language, behavior, and both gross and fine motor skills,” adding that he felt “an ethical obligation to warn the public, and urge the media to cover this national emergency.”

“National emergency” created by a documented liar, convicted felon, adjudicated sexual predator, rapist, and more who is the candidate that the Republican Party wants to return to the White House as their nominee for president in the national general election in November.

“National Nightmare” is more fitting.
