Not to pry, but how could someone be trailing you unless they somehow got your email addy. If the person is harassing you then all you have to do is block them by putting them on your permanently blocked list which is available through most secondary email providers and main ISP email systems.

I think sometime back you posted the link to your personal blog on this site and it would seem that's the only way they could have hooked up with you via the web.

There's no reason to leave this site or any other for that matter because of harrassment. There are ways to neutralize such efforts. If you have copies of such correspondence from one of CHB's members then you might contact CHB customer support, explain the problem along with some evidence. They could contact the person and tell them to cease and desist or they'll be banned.

One policy I have is that I "never" open any email from entities I do not know...ever! My SPAM count skyrocketed after I started frequenting CHB. I figure they simply found references to my Yahoo account handle on the web and then started spamming my Yahoo account. I rarely supply my main ISP provided email address to anyone but close friends, family members etc. I use my legal name for such an account.

The only other thing I can imagine is you take disagreement with your posts to this site as an attack upon you personally, if so, then that's another situation and would be one based on perceptions.

I'll miss your commentary if you do leave the site and as you know I've surely disagreed with your position on some issues over time.

This is an old aversary who simply disagrees with my points of view. It comes from another site that went overboard to hurt my daughter's reputation. Look Carl, I can take is but not when my daughter is concerned.

I want to read your words, seals, Keith and everyone but I cannot reply without Flapsaddle coming on with the most ridiculous comments. It it my freedom to not bother with anyone who uses a false name on 3 forums to discredit me. I will be opening a new site sadly under another name to rid the annoyance of this flea. I will put it off until after the election but I am looking for writers who feel as I do that our freedoms are in dire need of support without political overtones.

Carl, I come from another generation and have my own political agenda just as you do. But I would never go behind your back and try to discredit you anywhere. I do not want a fight here at CHB as this is the one place where most people speak their mind. It is a rare find for me. I want the dialog without the slime that often comes with it.

Hi Sandra Price...

I've witnessed your harsh comments towards T.J. Flapsaddle on this site from time to time.

Now I can't speak for your alleged interface with this person on another site or an attack upon your daughter's persona, but he's always been consumately polite and articulate on this site. In fact I always enjoy his commentary because I tend to always learn something of value from this poster.

He's never once attacked your commentary on this site because I make it a point to read all his posts. I'm not talking about a simple disagreement with any of your ideas, but he seems to write in a rather elegant fashion almost from that of another era; ie., the Edwardian etc.

I can also tell this poster has a stunning intellect and a memory covering a vast knowledge base.

Anyway I'm sorry if I'm upsetting you concerning my kudos for TJF.

Now if he's contacting you on another site or directly via email then I cannot speak for that, but for some reason I don't sense him engaging in such pedestrian activity. He surely has the ability to cut an adversary down with his command of the King's English and consumate writing skills, but always in an elegant, succinct fashion.

Don't let my defense of TJF be construed that I dislike you. As I've mentioned I always enjoy your posts too. In fact you made a post the other day that irritated "Bluesman" and he came back with a rather stunning, but crude reply to you that if you don't like what he wrote, then you can "squat on it" which I thought was a tad bit rough to say to an elegant lady such as yourself regardless of a disagreement concerning posted site commentary. I was about to make a comment concerning this rude reply, but refrained from doing so. So please understand that I have protective thoughts on your behalf too. : )
