Came across a great video today, and I will share it below. But first a few words. I see many Republicans jumping ship this year and (gasp!) looking at the Democrats (Obama) as some kind of protest thing. I see many more suggesting we abandon the party altogether and start a third party.

In the first debate in California last year, every one of the candidates were tripping over themselves to throw Reagan's name out there. All but one, that is.

The other candidate never even mentioned his name at all. Coincidentally, this other candidate (the one we shall not speak of) was one of the first four delegates to go to Washington to support Reagan. Reagan spoke very highly of this candidate, as well.

We Rail against the establishment and its media whores, yet we gobble up every morsel of its fetid detritus and yearn for seconds.

We rail against the hypocrisy of politics, yet we are forever transfixed by its shiny appearance and delusions of grandeur.

We are herded into groups to squabble endlessly over superficial and petty differences, never actually asking whether we should even be having the conversation in the first.

We never seek the advice of The Founders. They are shunned and considered irrelevant. These men brought about the greatest form of government ever created. We have allowed ourselves to be distracted, and it was stolen from under our noses.

So let's all turn off the propaganda boxes for five minutes, close your eyes, and think about what it was like being a kid. Remember what it was like growing up in the greatest, freest, and most popular place on the planet. Remember a time when your dreams were reality and anything was possible. Remember when you questioned everything; not out of skepticism, but because of a sheer thirst for knowledge.

Now think of our own kids, and the kind of dreams that await them. Nightmares, really. Endless War, Endless Poverty, Endless Surveillance, Endless Authority...Endless Government!

We have truly become Land of the Meek, Home of the Slaves. So instead of abandoning hope and endlessly criticizing something that we refuse to change, take a look at someone who is not only dedicated to it, but he also happens to be running for President...

Baseball - night and

Baseball - night and day...

Football, basketball, swimming, fishing, bike riding, frog gigging, fist fighting, going to church, going to school... in no particular order, but ubiquitous as a way of life. Yeah, I'd even trade this computer to get it all back. Life certainly was grand. City kids today never will know... I wonder how much of it country kids still have. Got a clue?

Reagan didn't become a hero

Reagan didn't become a hero to neocon globalist (read Bush loving) Republicans until the assassination attempt (read "contract hit by family friend) neutralized him.

Reagan was never the same after he got out of the hospital.
The old cowboy was still good for trotting out on TV, still good for the fiery speeches and it was okay that he took long and frequent naps while Bush41 did the actual running of the day to day duties of the US ship of state.

In essence, by almost having him killed, they decided they had perfected the Reagan legacy.

In essence what America got for eight years was really Bush41's first two terms in office.

In essence what we've had for the last twenty-eight years has been a dynasty controlled totally by the Bush crime family. An entire generation has grown up not knowing what it was like not having a neocon globalist in the White House, be it a Bush or a Clinton...same thing different bookend.

I don't think Americans will be able to bring themselves to let the dynasty ride off into the sunset and they will "run home to Momma" and elect the third term of the Clinton side of the dynasty this November.
Hell they may as well go for Jenna and Chelsea when they run, or Jeb, or maybe Marvin.

Yeah that's the campaign slogan...

"Maybe Marvin's the One!"

Even if Ron Paul by some miracle is elected, do you not think that there won't be another cooked story about a lone nut gunman trying to impress another third rate moom pitcher star. Do you not understand that the American people will swallow it hook line and sinker?
Do you not realize that the neocons will stop at nothing to choke Ron Paul's message until it is silenced?
If it takes another two or three false flag ops, if it takes another lone gunman, if it takes another fusillade of speedboats in the Gulf, if it takes another pack of wild tails wagging the dogs until the tails become their own new life form, flying their canine UFO's into the White House.

There will be no real Ron Paul, only the figurehead will be allowed to live. The cons will have their hand up his butt like Jerry Mahoney, and if he wants to live he'll let them do it, too.

Well Griff, there are some

Well Griff, there are some of us here who have tried to work for a limited government and a balanced budget. We were defeated by the American voters who want the government to tell them what they should not do and they sold it under federal grants.

I don't know how active you have been in the last 20 years about contacting your Congress and demanding a change but you (and I) were not active enough! The American people have been taught that the federal government is the ultimate authority and as you can see by the amount of votes Paul does not get, that it worked!

We will continue to get what we want. We want Socialism! We want a government that will decide for us what is right and wrong. We have fallen into the attitude of "Atlas Shrugged" and our voters have bought the same Koolaid that the rest of the world has swallowed.

I believe that Americans do not know right from wrong and we are floating around looking for authority to guide us. I'm tired of supporting the candidates who understand freedom and lose. Our future is what we make of it and Americans have decided to vote for American Idol and let the nation fall.

Yes, I am bitter and look at America as a great beast who is being starved to death. I see the phony Christians with their desire for Paradise who will turn us all in for a chance to die for Jesus Christ.
