Net Nanny: Political Censor

In an effort to protect us from all the bad things that are on the Internet, most publically funded Internet access sites in my location have installed Net Nanny as a content filter.

After 2 weeks of dealing with it, its obvious that Net Nanny has an obvious right wing bias. It is also unexplicably blocking sites that are non offensive.

Welcome to the Peoples Republic of Net Nanny. No thinking allowed.

Net Nanny you are a right wing political slut. Censor that!!!

I feel the same way about Akismet the SPAM filtering function used by many WordPress supported blog sites including CHB; ie., not WordPress supported or a "blog" for that matter... : |

The "reichwing" thought police are pervasive and seemingly everywhere on the www in these very interesting "endgame" times...!

Whats even stranger, Net Nanny has been blocking this one poor guys e-mail!

This guy can't retrieve his messages out of his in box without that old bag popping up.

I thought e-mail was private
