More proof that Iraq was nothing more than GW's personal vendetta against Hussein.

White House ordered forgery

Suskind writes in “The Way of the World,” to be published Tuesday, that the alleged forgery – adamantly denied by the White House – was designed to portray a false link between Hussein’s regime and al Qaeda as a justification for the Iraq war.

The author also claims that the Bush administration had information from a top Iraqi intelligence official “that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq – intelligence they received in plenty of time to stop an invasion.”

The letter’s existence has been reported before, and it had been written about as if it were genuine. It was passed in Baghdad to a reporter for The (London) Sunday Telegraph who wrote about it on the front page of Dec. 14, 2003, under the headline, “Terrorist behind September 11 strike ‘was trained by Saddam.’”

GW would have sold his soul (probably did) to invade Iraq! Even lie and cause the deaths of over 4000 brave American men and women!

If the POTUS and his administration, don't have to be responsible, or held accountable and can just lie and steal without consequences....then the rule of law is dead and buried and no one should be held accountable for their actions.

It is no longer good enough to say "Support our troops"! We MUST take actions to SAVE OUR TROOPS NOW!

And those who keep our troops in harm's way must be removed as the traitors that they truly are!

High Oil Prices Giving Iraq

High Oil Prices Giving Iraq Up to $79 Billion in Surplus Cash

Soaring oil prices will leave the Iraqi government with a cumulative budget surplus of as much as $79 billion by year’s end, according to an American federal oversight agency. But Iraq has spent only a minute fraction of that on reconstruction costs that are now largely borne by the United States.

The unspent windfall, which covers surpluses from oil sales from 2005 through 2008, appears likely to reinforce growing debate about the approximately $48 billion in American taxpayer money devoted to rebuilding Iraq since the American-led invasion.

Remember to Re-elect Bush/McCain 08! Spending $1566 PER SECOND IN IRAQ!

Yep, I'm a supporter of

Yep, I'm a supporter of right to bear arms as well for this very reason. It's inevitable. There cannot be this double standard under our current way of life without consequences. The only way the double standard works if we live in a totalitarian society where there are two classes of people....the workers and the bosses and even that eventually falls as history records.

Tape: Top CIA official

Tape: Top CIA official confesses order to forge Iraq-9/11 letter came on White House stationery

A forged letter linking Saddam Hussein to the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks was ordered on White House stationery and probably came from the office of Vice President Dick Cheney, according to a new transcript of a conversation with the Central Intelligence Agency's former Deputy Chief of Clandestine Operations Robert Richer.

The transcript was posted Friday by author Ron Suskind of an interview conducted in June. It comes on the heels of denials by both the White House and Richer of a claim Suskind made in his new book, The Way of The World. The book was leaked to Politico's Mike Allen on Monday, and released Tuesday.
